ITEMS ACCEPTED FOR PUBLICATION BUT NOT YET PUBLISHED
BOOK :TEXTBOOK
Kaur, Prit entitled “Cybercrime and Security:Combating Crime and Victimization in the Digital Age,” Cognella Publishers, at Advanced Stage.
I began working on book entitled, Cybercrime and Cybe Security in 2020 and at that time book contract was issued. But, terms and conditions of the contract was harsh; it was difficult to accept and sign the contract.
In 2024, Cognella Publishers invited me to write a review of one of their publications, “The Criminological Theories.” At the end, they made me a offer to write a book for them in the area of cybercrime and victimization and cyber security.
I negotiated with them and agreed to write a textbook in the area of cybercrime and security.
Book work is mostly complete. However, Cognella has it’s own timeline and process. But, cybercrime and security is a fast growing area. I think book will become available in 2026.
3. CREATIVE ACTIVITIES
Scholarly Creative Initiatives and Projects:
In 2019, I had a major breakthrough in research when one of my policy papers, “Role and Scope of Women Police in Cybercrime and Victimization,” presented in the American Society of Criminology was evaluated by premium justice research organizations – World Society of Victimology, American Society of Criminology, Criminologists Without Borders – as being relevant for bringing global impact. Paper was recommended for presentation at UN platform and inclusion in the United Nations proceeding. Presentation of this paper placed me in contact with the United Nations, UN Women, and one major global policing organization, International Association of Women Police. A list of the creative, distinctive activities and projects with these global organizations and other agencies is presented below as:
Collaborative Works with: (A) United Nations to include UN Women; Academic Council of United Nations; United Nations Institute of Training and Research;(B) International Association of Women Police;
